Blue Flower Beaded Bracelet

IMG-5383.JPG

This is a blue flower beaded bracelet. I wanted to make this, because when I was younger I had one similar to this. I

loved that bracelet. I wore it every day, and then one day it broke. I was devastated, so when this memory came back to

me recently, I decided to make this and fulfill the loss of my younger self.

I hope you enjoy!

Supplies

  • Glass Seed Beads
  • Clasp
  • Black Polyester Thread
  • 2 Needles
  • Chain extender

Attaching the Clasp

First things first, you have to measure your wrist with the string. Once you have done that, double it so you have twice the measurement of your wrist. Fold the string in half, string the clasp, and place it in the middle. Then tie it in place.

Making the Flower

Thread the needles on both ends of the string. This will help string the beads more efficiently and it will be less frustrating. After you have thread the needles, take a light blue bead, string it on one side, then take the other side and string it through. The bead should be on both of the strings. Then string three blue transparent beads on each side. String another light blue bead the exact same way as before, position it so that it is in the middle of the transparent beads, take one of the needles and string it through the top light blue bead. Do this with the other side as well. Take the right string and string it down through the three beads on the right. Do the same thing with the left side and you should be left with flower. Then string a light blue bead on both strings and string a transparent bead on each side. Repeat from beginning and keep going until you have your desired amount of flowers.

Finishing Touches

For my bracelet I made five flowers, but that is going to change depending on the size of your wrist. Attach the chain extender to the end of your bracelet and then you are finished!
