How to create a blossom branch arrangement

Hello everyone! I'm so excited to share this upcycled craft with all of you. We're using just a few materials, and what is so exciting about this is that I had all of my materials on hand. If you were to have to purchase materials, I purchased my paint at my local Walmart for $0.50 each, and my craft foam was $1.25 at my local Dollar Tree. You can also find your floral at Dollar Tree, or any craft store at a discounted price.

Applying Paint to the Candle Jar

Start by taking your candle jar and applying your acrylic paint. I combined both colors when I applied them to my candle jar. Be sure to allow your paint to dry between coats. I used a blow dryer to help with drying. I applied around three coats of paint.

Cutting Foam Block to Size

Next, take your scissors, or if you have a craft knife, use it to split your foam block in half. Depending on the size of your candle jar, be sure you cut it to a size that will work with your jar. Take your foam block, and add it to your glass jar.

Inserting Your Branch

After, take your branch and insert it into the middle of your foam block. I decided to use a branch I cut when my husband and I were doing our spring cleanup in our yard. We had a few trees that we had to trim, and I thought it would be perfect to use a few of the branches for projects.

Preparing Your Floral

Using your floral snips, begin to cut the tops of your faux floral. You can also cut some of the greenery as well.

Take your hot glue, apply it onto each floral piece, and add your floral onto your branches.

Next, take your greenery, and use your hot glue to apply it to the top section of your foam block. I did this to cover any areas where my foam block was visible.

Your Blossom Design Is Complete
