Bloody Jelly Donut Eyeballs
These gruesome goodies will have everyone's eye on the dessert table! To start, all you need is a box of powdered donut hole "eyeballs". Stab them with a fork, take a bite, and watch the jelly "blood" gush out. For more fun treats visit us at dollhousebakeshoppe.com
You will need
You will need
- Powdered donut holes or mini donettes
- M&M's
- Black edible marker or food coloring
- Strawberry or raspberry seedless jelly
- Forks
Using a black edible marker or black food coloring and a paint brush, add pupils to your "iris" M&M's.
Roll your donut hole in extra powdered sugar, to get them really white, if needed. Stab your eyeballs with a fork. If desired, fill the center of your donut holes with "blood" jelly (I used the cupcake filling tip.) I used raspberry jelly because it had a deeper red color than the strawberry, for a spookier effect.
Spoon some jelly into the corner of a plastic sandwich bag. Twist the bag around the top of the jelly, creating a bulge. Snip a very tiny hole off of the corner of the bag. Place your thumb and index finger on top of the twist and apply steady pressure to pipe bloody veins on your eyeball, moving from the center, outward.
Don't forget to squeeze some jelly on the fork, around the base of the donut too.
