Blinking an LED With a 555 Timer Circuit

Here is a detailed video I created to explain how to use a 555 Timer IC, in combination with a few resistors and capacitors, to make an LED light blink.

Things you will need:

1) Breadboard

2) Breadboard jumper wires

3) 555 Timer IC

4) An LED diode

5) A DC power supply (You can use a few AA batteries depending on the capacitor and resistor combination you used)

6) Some resistors and capacitors based off your calculation
