Blanket Poncho & No Sew Mitts
You can make this blanket poncho in 10 mins.. PLUS a pair of NO sew mitts out of an old sweater!

What You Need for NO Sew Mitts
Sweater
Scissors
Chalk
Hot glue gun
Trace around hand with chalk--make sure you give an extra inch or so around hand.
Pin both prices of fabric together and cut.
Hot glue both prices together. Make sure to keep it close to the edges.
**Fabric needs to be turns inside out. (Good sides facing in)
Cut sleeve/cuff of sweater off.
Mitt should still be inside out. Roll the hand opening up to expose the 'good' side. Hot glue to cuff to the 'good' side.
Trim excess and flip inside out and you're done!
Repeat ALL for second mitt.
What You Need for Blanket Poncho
Blanket
Scissors
Chalk
Sewing Machine/Needle and thread
Yarn... I didn't end up using this.
Fold blanket it half. (fold should be at the top)
Fold in half again...the other way. (fold along the side)
Take chalk and draw a line along the side fold.
**This is marking the centre of the poncho to create the opening in the front**
Unfold the side fold and reveal the chalk line.
Cut just ONE layer of fabric.
Cut until you reach the top fold.
Sew along the cut you just made to keep the edges from fraying.. and you're done!
