Bits Holder

Hey guys, today we have another fun laser cut project that can be very useful to organize our CNC or Modela Bits.

All we need is a basic 2D designing skills. So, to design the 2D model we used Inkscap because it's free and easy to use software. Finally, we used a laser cutter machine to cut the parts.

في هذا الدرس سوف نقوم بتصميم حامل للشفرات عن طريق برنامج انكسكيب وسوف نستخدم آلة القطع بالليزر لتنفيذ المشروع. سوف نحتاج إلى المهارات الاساسية للتصميم ببرنامج إنكسكيب لعمل هذا المشروع.

For this project we will need the followings:

• Acrylic (6mm thickness)
• Super glue.
• A ruler
• Transparent office tape

We will also need a laser cutter machine.

For the 2D design, we designed the parts using Inkscape .

Note, we made this design from scratch to fit the 6mm acrylic perfectly after cutting and joining all the parts.

The final step is cutting and assembling the parts. In this step, you will first need to hold the parts together using the transparent tape. Then, use the super glue to glue all the parts permanently.

Final note:

you can always develop this idea and use different type of materials as well.
