Birthday Suprise Box

Intro:

The Birthday Suprise Box is a medium size box that contain full of birthday surprises!

When the button is pressed, the system is activated

The buzzer will play Happy Birthday Song, while the 4 different color LED perform a light show

The LCD will also show "Happy Birthday" and blink

For those who are lonely, when nobody remembers or cares about your birthday, and you still want to celebrate by yourself, this is the box you want!. This box can build up the atmosphere exactly like a birthday party, or even exceeding the joyfulness in an actual party!

• Base:
  • Shoebox
  • Utility Knife
  • Marker
• Circuit
  • Arduino Leonardo
  • Breadboard
  • 4 LED light (red, orange, blue, green)
  • Button
  • Buzzer
  • LCD (with I2C)

Construct the circuit using the material mentioned in Step 1 as the picture shown

Be Aware:

1. The picture used Arduino Uno, in the reality I used Arduino Leonardo, however, there isn't a big difference and critical effect to the result
2. The LCD in the picture is incorrect, in reality, I added the I2C module, which simplified the process of constructing

Use the shoebox as the base of the circuit.

Drill holes on it using the utility knife, use the picture as an example

• 4 small holes on the top are for the LEDs
• one big square at the button is for the LCD
• a circle at the left is for the buzzer

Put the Circuit into the shoebox, place the LED, LCD, buzzer and button in the hole drilled.

Connect it to the LED and test!

You can celebrate your birthday alone without feeling lonely!
