Bird Feeder
A good friend saved this out of a garbage pile for me. I knew I wanted to do something with it, but it had to be done so it could be rebuilt and ridden again by a child.
The first request was for a plant stand. Unfortunately, I was in the market for a bird bath at the time. So, this is what I came up with. It can be moved easily and double as a plant stand.

Solder
A quick sweat job of the copper cap and brass clean out cover. I then fit it to the seat post to see if was the level I desired.
Terra Cotta Saucer
I laid a bead of Liquid Nails on the terra cotta where the clean out cover will lay. I also filled the threads of the clean out cover. When I fit the two together, I used my finger to smooth out the glue joint.
Fixing Position
Using a 4' drywall screw, I put it in the fence at an angle. This caused a tight fit in the handle bar holding it in place. I also set the rims in the gravel to further fix its position. Added some bird seed and its been good to go.
