Bird Feeder-Fairy Tree With Swing

Restore an old birdfeeder, and make it into a little fairy tree!

I found one on a pole, it was empty, but it was REALY dirty! Just clean it well before starting.

I took some vintage dictionary pages, that I printed out, and chopped them into pieces. Then, I glued the pieced to the roof and finished it by putting glue over the paper too.

Roll some foil up to make the base of the trunk. To make the roots, fold/roll foil around toothpicks and glue and stick them at the bottom of the trunk.

Cut foil into small strips, then make random cuts on one end of the strip. Roll the other end to make the main part of the branch. Then roll and shape the other cuts, to make it look like a branch. (Repeat several times)

Glue the branches on the top of the base. You can put clay around the tree at this point, but I didn't.

Paint on some brush, or leaves. You can add more detail here.
