Bike Ramp & Hook

A new method to store bikes in the home. Convenient and fun!

Acquire Materials

Build Ramp

Cut cardboard to 16 2' by 2' pieces

Stack 2' by 2' cardboard layers and fasten together with bolt

Draw ramp outline ramp

Use Exacto to cut ramp layers based on drawn outline

Cut cardboard to 6 2' by 3""

Stack ramp cardboard layers

Draw support beam outline (approx 1'' by 3'' slit)

Use Exacto to cut 1" by 3" slot across 16 pieces

Build Wall Hook

Cut 10 3" by 8" pieces

Stack layers and fasten with bolt

Cut 8 5" by 5" pieces

Stack layers and outline hook

Use Exacto to cut out stacked layers of hooks

Measure width and length of non-curved end of hook

Cut by same width and length into middle of fastened cardboard stack

Finishing Touches

Drill screws into stack of hooks

Glue non-curved end into rectangular space

Glue together 3" by 8" cardboard layerstack to make support beam and then glue to in slit on ramp

(Optional) Re-cut ramp so middle is staggered to provide track for bike wheel

Secure Hook to Wall
