clamps to handlebar. can hold most flashlights . can quickly reposition with one hand the angle of light while riding . has 15cm rise above handlebar to get light closer to eye level for less shadowing effect

Supplies

light weight softwood

strong hardwood for bottom clamping piece

m8 wingnuts ordered from online , has 7 threads that wont strip compared to 3 threads from generic ones

m8 bolts 90mm

m4 or m5 bolts for clamping to flashlight

1mm stainless sheet

silicone rubber sheet 1mm for grip

a 2 x 21700 flashlight

cut hole in softwood with 30 or 32mm hole-saw

use a mitre saw to cut through the hole you just drilled , cut off 1/3

file down this part so it can fit on your handlebar

use 7 or 7.5mm drill bit to install bolts into softwood , lubricate holes with beeswax finish

cut heads off bolts after installing

file down bolts so wingnuts can screw on

install a hose clamp or similar on your handlebar to stop unit from sliding sideways

when finished tighten down the wingnuts hard , grip it from the top and push or pull to adjust angle
