Big Granola Bar

I've always been a fan of granola bars and food in general. So it would only make sense for me to make a massive granola bar to satisfy my cravings.

Supplies

2 cups oats

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup wheat germ

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 cup flour

3/4 cup chocolate chips

3/4 tsp salt

1/3 cup honey

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1/3 cup peanut butter

1 beaten egg

2 tsp vanilla

Set Up

First, get familiar with the process and setup. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and grease your 9x13 pan.

Dry Mix

Add all the dry ingredients into one bowl and mix them together. (Oats, sugar, wheat germ, cinnamon, flour, and salt)

Wet Mix

Add the wet ingredients to a different bowl. (Honey, vegetable oil, peanut butter, egg, and vanilla.)

Combine Mixes

Create a well in the dry mix and slowly pour the wet mix into the well.

Mix

Mix together both mixes. Use a plastic spatula for the start and then use your hands to fully combine the mixes. Do not overstir.

Add to Pan

Add your mixture to the greased pan. Spread it out evenly to prevent uneven cooking.

In the Oven

Put it in the oven at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until it starts to brown. Once it is finished cooking you have your giant granola bar.
