Bicycle Penguin Water Bottle Holder (Tinkercad)

40.PNG

With the weather warming up and the sun shining now is the perfect time to get out there and pull your bike out of the garage! This penguin-themed water bottle holder is perfect for people who enjoy taking their bikes out for a ride. The inspiration comes from the idea that nice cool water is refreshing after exercising, and who understands how nice cold water is better than penguins? Not only do penguins embrace the cold, but they also represent commitment. Commitment to love, family, or even commitment to an exercise goal. So what are you waiting for? Come and create this cool project on Tinkercab and then head out for a refreshing ride!

Supplies

-Tinkercad uses supplies from the "Basic Shapes" and "Design Starters" sections.

NOTE: With each shape picked, choose your desired color before grouping it with other objects

1) Select the "Basic Shapes" category on tinkercad and pick the cylinder

2) Increase the shape of the cylinder to the size of your normal water bottle

3) Now, pick another cylinder from the category, but this time instead of using the solid option click "Hole"

4) Once the hole category is picked shape the cylinder to be slightly smaller in width compared to the first cylinder

5) Place the second cylinder into the first cylinder making any adjustments in shape that are needed

6) Once the cylinder is centered, click the left button on your mouse and drag it over the cylinders

7) Then, click the "group" button located at the top right of the screen (this will make the needed hole in the cylinder)

8) Now, place another cylinder on the working surface and flatten/widen the shape

9) Once the shape is as large as the bottom of the big cylinder place the large cylinder over it

10) Drag your mouse over the object once again and click "group" (this will allow both items to stick together)

11) Now move the view to the back of the cylinder

12) In the same group (Basic Shapes) click the tube shape twice

13) Place a square on top of the tube (make sure the square is on the hole category)

14) Once the square is in the middle of the tube drag your mouse over both of the shapes and click "group"

15) Repeat for the second tube

16) Then, turn both tubes vertically onto the cylinder and drag the mouse over the shapes and click group so that they can stick together

(The tube shapes are placed here so that a rope can be put through them and then tied to a bike)

10) Cut each one in half by picking a square that is on hole mode and grouping them

11) Next, bring both halves to the middle of the sphere and place them facing each other to create a beak
