Bicycle Breech Lock

I came across this lock from a friend. I was told they where free at one time to secure guns for child safety. Well, given to necessity, due to constant loss of locks, I have done quite well with this breech lock for a quick lock to run to the store on my bike.

As you can see, it is a lock only limited by creativity and the means at hand. I'd also like to add this is a fast and temporary lock not meant for long storage.
