Best Vegan Banana Bread
Today I will show you how to make the best vegan banana bread with optional add-ins. This recipe was inspired by quite a few vegan food blogs as well as Emma Macdonald on YouTube. This recipe follows a standard cooking method with the oven to be set at 375 degrees and should take 20-30 minutes to make then bake. Super yummy and simple! This allows you to have nice snack while in between classes.

Ingredients
(Wet)
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup organic maple syrup
- 2/4 cup organic honey
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1 tbsp vanilla unsweetened organic almond milk (or milk of your choice)
(Dry)
- 1 cup flour or GF flour
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1tsp baking soda
- dash of cinnamon
- sea salt shaker
OPTIONAL: Raisins, dark chocolate, walnuts.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Supplies
2 ripe bananas, 1/4 cup organic maple syrup, 2/4 cup organic honey, 1/2 cup coconut oil, 1 tbsp vanilla unsweetened organic almond milk (or milk of your choice), 1 cup flour or GF flour, 1 cup oatmeal, 1 tsp baking powder, 1tsp baking soda, dash of cinnamon, sea salt shaker, metal pan 4x4, raisins, dark chocolate, walnuts, shredded coconut, bowl, spoon, fork.
Gather Your Materials
First, gather all materials needed as well as optional materials or add ins that you would use! Some add ins like chocolate, raisins, and walnuts go well with this bread.
Add All Your Wet Ingredients Together
To begin this recipe, we will take your wet materials (honey, maple syrup, and melted coconut oil) and mix thoroughly.
Add Your Bananas and Mash
Next, add the two ripened bananas to the wet mixture and mash into the bowl with a fork or tool of your choice.
Add Almond Milk and Stir
Next, select your milk of choice (if it is not VANILLA flavored, add an extra tsp of vanilla extract to your mixture.) Stir after this addition. Set aside.
Begin the Dry Mixture
Measure out 1 cup of oats dry (oatmeal), and add to a blender on Ninja Bullet. Screw on the cap.
Blend the Oats
Next, power your oats on high until a refined small texture that suits a dry powder.
Add Oats to Wet Mixture.
Now, add the blended oatmeal to your wet mixture then mix once again. Whisk lightly and fruitily.
Add the Dry Ingredients to Your Wet Oat Mixture
Add the baking powder, dash of cinnamon, a grind of sea salt, baking powder, and cup of flour of your choice to the wet oat mixture and blend or stir until a consistent, even texture.
OPTIONAL: Prepare Your Add-ins
If choosing for a more fun, exciting banana bread add in some add-ins! For example, I added whisked orange dark chocolate, raisins, and chopped walnuts.
MIX Your Final Dough!
Mix it mix it mix it! (Add the add-ins).
Add the Dough to a Pan
Add the dough to a lightly greased square or loaf pan. Even it out.
Bake at 375 for 25-35 Minutes Until Cooked.
Check with a chopstick to see if the dough sticks or not. When it is not, take it out of the oven.
Cut & Serve and Enjoy!
Hope you liked this banana bread! Its moist, delicious, and fluffy.
