Hey there!

Pizza is probably the greatest food there is. You can make a hundred different types of pizza and you can match everyones taste as you can add ingredients you love or leave out ingredients you don't like. Everyone can create their own favourite pizza and this is the way I prepare mine.

Enjoy! :)

Ingredients for the Dough

To make the pizza we need to prepare the dough first. I made pizza for my siblings as well, so this recipe corresponds to 3 servings. You'll need:

  • 200 grams of flour
  • 20 grams of sugar
  • 20 grams of butter
  • a pack of dry yeast
  • an egg
  • 1/8 l milk
  • a pinch of salt

Preparing the Dough

Preparing a pizzadough is very easy. I am using a mixer to prepare the dough because it is less exhausting than doing it by hand.

First we mix the dry ingredients such as flour, salt, yeast and sugar. While this is done, heat the milk and the butter together, but just a little. I used the microwave, but the oven is fine as well. Next, add the wet ingredients (butter, milk, egg) and mix it all together. Maybe you have to add some flour if the dough is too sticky.

When you have generated a soft but compact dough, put it into another bowl and seal it airtight with a lid. Now the dough has to rest at least 30 minutes in a warm spot. I put it on the balcony, where it rests in the sun, you can also put it behind a window where the sun shines through or if there is no sun at all put it in the warm water bath in the sink.

Ingredients for the Topping

While the dough is still resting, we can look for some delicous ingredients which we want to have on our pizza. I have found:

  • tomato ketchup
  • gouda cheese
  • sausage, liver cheese, ham
  • red pepper
  • onion
  • pepperoni
  • clove of garlic
  • pizza seasoning

The measurement you need depends on how big your pizza is and you can decide for yourself how much of these things you put on your dough.

Chopping the Topping Ingredients

While the dough is still resting, let's chop some ingredients for the topping.

Grate the cheese and cut the pepper, sausages and onion into thin stripes. Than cut the pepperoni in half and chop the clove of garlic.

Put it all aside, we will need it later.

Shaping the Dough

When the lid has opended and the dough has risen, it is time to shape the dough. Prepare some flour and a rolling pin. I use this mat, but you can just put the flour on the desk or whatever surface you are working on. Just make sure you have enough space and cover the surface and the rolling pin with flour or else the dogh will stick.

Cut your dough into three parts (three pizzas) and roll them out one by one. If it is not a perfect circle, that is no problem. At least it doesn't bother me as you can see. ;)

Last, place them on baking sheets lined with baking paper.

Topping the Pizza

Now let the fun begin.

Cover the dough with tomato ketchup, than put the half of your grated cheese on it. Safe the other half for later. Now spread some onions and the garlic, followed by the pepper and the pepperoni. At last, put the leftover cheese on it and do not forget the pizza seasoning.

Bake and Eat!

Bake the pizza in the oven with 180 °C for about 15 to 20 minutes. Now all you have to do is enjoy your pizza!
