Best Crockpot Chili!

16320.jpeg

This is my recipe for what my family and friends say is the best chili they have ever had!

Easy to make.

Very hardy.

Garnish with shredded cheddar and or sour cream if you like.

Buttered Italian bread is what I like to have with it.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Thank you...

1 Tbsp Freash Ground Black Pepper

Browning

On medium heat, Sweat and brown Onions with minced garlic and a little olive oil in large frying pan.

Use a cover to help steam them as the cook.

(I use glass covers to see inside and not lift the lid to lose heat and steam from pan while cooking. )

When the onions look translucent add the peppers, cover.

Brown ground beef in separate pan, drain, add to onion mixture.

Sautee

Add ground beef to onion mixture and sautee for 5 minutes, mix well to incorporate all together.

Add Beef Onion Mix to Pot

Add onion and beef mixture to Crockpot and mix well.

Cover, slow cook for 6 to 8 hours on low or 4 to 6 hours on high.

Mix every couple hours. (Mix every hour if cooking on high)

Taste and add more spices if needed after cooking for couple hours

as the cooking process will bring out the flavor of the spices in the mix.

This is a mild chili with a great taste and flavor!

Very hardy and did not last long!
