Bavarian cream can also be used for cake filling, choux pastry filling, and even donuts filling.

Ingredients and Method

SDC10024-COLLAGE.jpg

8-9 strawberries (should be enough to make a cup when mushed)

1/2 c sugar

1 box of raspberry jello (either regular or 0 calories, doesn't matter), other brand works too.

1/2 c milk (either skim, 2% whole, doesn't matter, but I usually use skim/1% milk)

water as needed

1 c freshly hot boiled water

1 pouch dream whip

ice cubes (about 2 trays)

Mash strawberries and sprinkle with sugar, let stand for 20 minutes

Meanwhile dissolve jello in hot boiled water in a bowl, set aside

Strain strawberries and add water into the juice that it would make about 1 cup of juice

Mix strawberry juice into jello, and chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes, a little firm.

Mix milk with dream whip (following the pouch) and whip until fluffy

Place ice cubes into a large bowl and place jello bowl on ice cubes, then whip until fluffy

Add in whipped cream into whipped hello, follows with mashed strawberries, fold to combine

Pour mixture into servings cups, chill until set.

Enjoy~
