Bench Grinder Tool Rest

Hello my Fellow Instructables this is my DIY bench grinder tool rest the base moves in and out and the top moves up and down at angles The other tool rest is fixed at 90 angle

Supplies

for this, you will need Square tubing 1 x 1 "inches" x 6" long 1 piece square tubing 1.2 x1.2 x 3 inches long a 3-inch long angle bar, a 1/4 x 3x3 flat metal bar, drill bits Bolts, and Nuts tools required angle grinder or a metal

saw also a welding machine welding helmet and gloves

you will need two pieces about 5 or 6 inches long cut one end of each tubing at a 45 angle and weld together so you will end with an L looking piece on one end drill a hole this would be the top

get the 3-inch long square tubing weld a 3-inch long L bracket to one side drill two holes on the base and drill one hole on top of the tubing in the middle and weld a Nut to it

get the Flat bar 3x3 or bigger and cut a small opening so the grinder wheel fits in between. on face weld a 3 - inch piece of L bracket drill a hole in the middle of the L bracket and round the front. see picture

secure the top flat base to the Body and secure the body to the 3-inch square tubing they need to seat in front of the grinder. see pictures The other tool holder is fixed so is not working for me I will make another just like this one to replace it with.
