Belgian Truffles

Belgian truffles are a kind of ganache treated that you would normally have with tea or coffee. it is really easy to make as it only consists of three ingredients, but it tastes excellent.

Supplies

200g of dark chocolate (preferably Belgian)

100g of cream

30g of butter.

Ganache

Heat the milk to simmering point.

Add it to the chocolate little by little.

If the chocolate is not fully melted you can finish it in a bain-marie style.

add the butter to the mix.

at this point, you can add flavourings like sea salt and orange extract.

Shaping

Insert the ganache into a piping bag.

Use the piping bag to put it into the moulds. (not necessary but makes it nic)

Shape two semicircles into a ball and ball and roll in the cocoa powder.

at this point, you can add some crushed almonds on the edges.
