Beeper - Morse Code Manual Trainer

The beeper is made from an old phone handset (speaker and microphone), some wires, connectors and a 9V battery. We also need a telegraph key, but that is not the subject of this project. We can use the Thingiverse library and print some. I used this one.

Supplies

We need:

1 pcs microphone (extracted from old phone)

1 pcs speaker (extracted from old phone)

1 pcs 9V battery

1 pcs connector for 9V battery (can also be extracted from the old battery)

2 pairs banana + socket connector

2 pcs screws 2.5 x 12

and some wires (extracted from UTP cable)

Print both files on 3D printer. Rafts:No; Supports:No; Resolution: 0.2mm, Infill: 20%.

All things are in serial connection: Banana1 - Battery - MIC - Speaker - Banana2

Mechanical Assembly

Place the "carriage" in the "box" and secure it with two screws. You can try what happens when you move the microphone further or closer to the speaker.

Connect telegraphic key and start to learn Morse code.
