Beautiful Birthday Greeting Box

Birthday Greeting Box

It was my sister's birthday and I was thinking about making a greeting card for her. Gifts are mostly given in boxes so I decided to make a greeting box instead!!

Supplies

  • Scissor
  • Cutter
  • Ruler
  • Tape
  • Hot glue
  • Glue

Making the Box and the Cap

  1. Take a 30 cm x 30 cm yellow sheet.
  2. Divide it into 9 squares cut the corner squares a made a small cut on the top right corner square and connect the 2 squares.
  3. Take a 9.5 cm by 5 cm black sheet. make 5 of them.
  4. Glue the black pieces on each face of the yellow card.
  5. Cut out 2 circles 4 cm from the middle.
  6. Now take a paper and cut the width of 5.5 cm and then leave a gap of 1 cm and fold it. do the same to the other side.
  7. Now cut small rectangles till the line of 1 cm.
  8. Now glue the strip you just cut to the circle.
  9. After that glue the second circle to the top of the strip.
  10. Now Take a purple paper and make a creamy cut and glue it to the cake.
  11. Make another one of the circles except make it small.
  12. Now glue the small one on the big one a and glue the cake in the centre of the box.
  13. Now cut out a red rectangles and a golden heart and glue them together.
  14. Then glue it to the left side of the box.
  15. Then write a wish and fit it below the red strip. Do the same to the other side.
  16. Now take a black paper 18.5 cm by 18.5 cm.
  17. Then fold it 4 cm from all of the sides.
  18. Then cut one line at each of the corner squares and glue it together to make a cap.
  19. You can add anything on top of the cap.


You have a pretty box ready to be gifted!!!
