This is a simple bean bag toss game that you can make using a large box.

Supplies

  • A cardboard box (any type)
  • A plus shaped cardboard divider
  • A sheet of cardboard (optional)
  • Scissors
  • Tape (scotch, duct tape)
  • Many colors of markers or pencils
  • A bean bag or ball

STEP 1: Divide Your Box

Put the divider in the box and tape it on all sides. (When you’re done test it with the beanbag and see if it holds)

STEP 2: (optional)

You can cut the cardboard sheet into 3rd’s (the long way) and stick one of the strips on the side of the box to prop it up. (But I’m not doing that because tables exist)

Step 3: (the Fun Part)

Decorate your box! Name it. Color it. Add certain amounts of points to each section. Have fun.

MANY WAYS TO PLAY

Great job! You have made a game out of a cardboard box. Now you can play it with your friends and family.

Many ways to play

There are many different games you can play with this game such as: random drop where you drop a ball into the box without looking and the other person is spinning the box you could play a basketball style game where you place down some tape to mark where you throw the ball (or bean bag) and you have five throws and you take turns with your friend to try to get the most points or you could set a timer use this for exercises where what number you land on is how long you jump or run or gallop or skip or do burpees, jumping jacks. Be creative and come up with your own fun challenging games to play with your family and friends.
