In this instructable I'm going to show you how to make this beaded brooch, it's very easy, the materials are inexpensive and it will be an excellent gift. Something like this in a store will be at least $10, but we are going to make one with just a few dollars. And if you use spare beads from other project it will be even cheaper.

Gather Your Materials

Thick polypropylene plastic. I bough mine at a craft shop, but you can use a plastic disposable container.

Cut

Its easier if you first draw and cut the shape you like on a small piece of paper. But make sure it's as long as your barrette. Mine is a diamond.

Use that shape as a guide to cut out the plastic.

Cover With Fabric

Cut a square of fabric the size of the diamond. Sew the fabric so that it takes the shape of the diamond.

Sew

Sew the beads on the side without seams. Put as many or as little as you like. I like mine with different sizes of beads.

Attach It to the Brooch

This kind of brooches have a piece at the middle that you'll have to take out to be able to sew the embellishment to the brooch. One you finish sewing put that piece back.

Enjoy!

That's it, now you have a fancy beaded brooch that will make any hairstyle more beautiful.
