Beach Picture Frame

I went to Petoskey, MI twice this year, and found some awesome rocks and driftwood there. So, when I came back, I was wondering what I could do with all these rocks and driftwood. It took some thinking, but I finally came up with this cool picture frame idea. If you have never heard of Petoskey stones, they are fossils and these are usually found only around the Great Lakes, Lake Michigan in particular. They are great in their natural form and look even better polished! You can use other rocks for this project if you do not have any Petoskey stones.

Supplies

Any size or shape picture frame [ Just make sure it has a smooth front, wood looks great, too ]

A couple handfuls of any size or shape of rocks [ Depending on how big your frame is, and everyone has their own artistic style, so some might want more rocks or more driftwood ]

Driftwood [ More than likely you're not going to need that much driftwood. In the picture as you can see, I only used a couple long sticks. ]

Hot glue gun, with hot glue sticks. [ Or super glue ]

Take the glue gun/super glue and start gluing all the rocks and drift wood on. However you like! :) There's no wrong way...you can even let some of the wood hang over the sides!

Finished!

Once you have finished gluing all the rocks and driftwood on the frame, [ if you used the hot glue gun], take off all the excess glue strands.

Yay you made a beautiful picture frame! Wow, that went by fast! At last you have something more decortive to keep your pictures in!
