Hello my name is Joshua Goethe. I’ve worked on a farm my

whole life. Knowing how to change/charge your car battery could save you hundreds of dollars each year. Today I will show you how to change/charge your car battery and make sure it is in top performance.

The first step in cleaning the battery posts of the car is

to remove the wires attached to them for this a pliers will be needed after they are removed move on to the next step.

The second step is to sprinkle the baking soda lightly on

and around them. After that very slowly and carefully pour vinegar on the battery posts not too much just enough to dissolve the baking soda. After that is done take a brush and scrub the battery posts until they are as clean as possible then take a rag or paper towel and dry them off.

The last step is to reattach the wires back to the battery

posts they were originally attached to and make sure everything is fastened and secured were it was originally.
