Basic Teddy Bear
When I first learned to create my own amigurumi, I was really obsessed with crocheting into the back loops only to create a "bend" in each shape. I also wanted to create something quick and easy and instantly gratifying. Don't you just love the feeling of accomplishment you get when you finish something you've been working on?
I decided to try and make a basic teddy bear pattern. I drew a really quick sketch on a piece of binder paper and measured out the proportions just to give myself an idea of how big each shape would be. The bear came about to be 5-6 inches tall, so I knew it would be a quick project.
I wrote everything down as I crocheted and used colors I haven't seen too much before and finally was able to say I made my very first amigurumi on my own. Hope you enjoy!
