Here I will teach you how to change your bat into a lamp.

Things You Need

1. Barrel of any bat

2. Lamp wire

3. Socket for the light bulb

4. A home plate for the base

5. Lamp shade

6. Light bulb

7. Epoxy

Get the Barrel of the Bat

First, you need to get your bat to just be your barrel. Mine broke so I didn't need to get mine cut off. If your's isn't broken you need to find a place that will cut the handle and the knob off the bat.

Wiring the Bat

Next, you need to take your lamp wire and feed it through where you cut the knob off of the end of the barrel. When you get the wire through the top of the barrel you have to feed the wire through the socket. You may need pliers to get the wire in because I had to get mine through using pliers. Once, your done with wiring it, it should look like exactly like the picture.

Adding the Base

In this step I can help you make your base of your lamp be a home plate. First, you need to find a home plate of any kind. Then you need to make a hole in the middle of the plate so that the plug will be able to slide through the hole. Next, you need to create a route for the wire so it won't make the home plate not level where the wire is underneath the home plate, like so in the second picture. Then your're pretty much done last thing to do is...

Gluing It Together

You will need to use some sort of glue or something like epoxy. I used epoxy to glue my lamp together. You will need to put epoxy around the bottom circumference of the barrel, like in picture one. Lastly, you will need to put epoxy around the bottom of the socket so then the light bulb won't move all around,

The Final Product

When you are done with your lamp it should look exactly like mine, as in the picture example.
