Bam Bam's No Hassle Mocha

IMG_1765.JPG

When my roommate started drinking coffee like many new coffee drinkers found that it was easier to drink when it was mixed or diluted with other ingredients. Because he was also a lover of chocolate, he quickly found that he quite enjoyed the taste of mochas. however unless you have an espresso machine mochas are somewhat difficult to get and buying them all the time gets very expensive. So he came up with a simple but tasty alternative to a mocha using coffee and hot chocolate mix. Today I will be showing you how to make this quick and easy no hassle mocha recipe.

Ingredients

All you need for to make this no hassle mocha is regular coffee and a coffee maker, milk, instant hot chocolate, a mug, and a microwave. Make sure that the mug that you use is large enough to hold at least 2 cups of liquid.

Heat Your Milk

The first step to make the mocha is to pour yourself approximately one serving of milk as dictated by the packaging for the hot chocolate. Once you have got it in your mug, put it in the microwave for 45 seconds to a minute. When you take the milk out it should be hot, but not boiling.

Mix in the Hot Chocolate

Once your milk is hot, you can add the instant hot chocolate mix to it. Stir in until the powder is dissolved.

Add Coffee

Now that the hot chocolate itself is ready you can add coffee. I recommend making the coffee a little bit on the strong side just to give it that espresso like taste. After your coffee is brewed, pour the black coffee into the hot chocolate and stir. The amount of coffee that you add to your mocha depends on how strong you like your coffee drinks and how big your mug is. Personally I like a even 50/50 split if I make the coffee on the stronger side.

Relax and Enjoy
