![ball and catcher 2.jpg](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FEQ/TGN0/LE5OOVNG/FEQTGN0LE5OOVNG.jpg&filename=ball and catcher 2.jpg)
i made a ball and catcher game because it is simple and fun to play with.
Supplies
you can use any 3d printing material of your choice and a 3d printer
Initial Drawing
![Screenshot 2023-02-16 114732.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/FN1/KF79/LE743WUH/FN1KF79LE743WUH.png&filename=Screenshot 2023-02-16 114732.png)
first draw the 2 circles which will form the cup used to catch the ball. the outer circle should be 1.474 inches in radius and the inner should have a radius of 1.25 inches. Then draw the handle. you can draw the handle any size you want, I made mine 5.5 inches with a .75 inch semi circle on the end of it.
First Extrusion
![Screenshot 2023-02-16 114800.png](/proxy/?url=https://content.instructables.com/F6H/2NK1/LE743WUQ/F6H2NK1LE743WUQ.png&filename=Screenshot 2023-02-16 114800.png)
next extrude the inner circle and hand up .2 inches. you can change the handle size if you want it a little thicker, but .2 works just fine.
Building the Cup

next select the outer circle and extrude 1 inch up.
The Ball

next draw a circle and split it in half with a line. if you want a hole in the ball you can put a rectangle in the circle sketch, so that it goes straight out towards the edge of the circle. after this, select the half circle and revolve around the center line. this will create your sphere. use the move tool to make sure they are level and you can export.
Printing

now you can export the piece and using the slicing software of your choice, slice it and print it on your 3d printer. the printer and material don't matter as long as your printer is big enough to print it.

now you can throw the ball up, bounce it off walls, or whatever you desire and catch it back in the cup. Have fun!
