Ball Puzzle : a Complex 3D Printed Puzzle Which Looks Very Simple

The intention of making this puzzle was design and 3D print something which would look very simple to solve but would actually be very complex. Thus forcing the user to fiddle with these pieces.

Also, once you solve this puzzle you end up with a ball shape, good for a catch and throw game !

All you need for this project is an STL file and a 3D printer and some filament....

I have attached the file which you can download and slice using any slicing software. The .STL file is exported at scale and a 15% Infill should be sufficient.

I wanted to minimize complexity while designing this project and hence I have designed this puzzle in such a way that I need only a single .STL file part which is to be printed six times. Here you can see some orthographic views of the file along with a section analysis view. This part has been designed using Fusion 360.

Now we will 3D print our Ball Puzzle STL file. We will print six copies of the file simultaneously. You can do so by using the copy paste tool in your slicing software of choice.
