We Prepare the Zucchini and Onion
Cut the zucchini and green onions as in photo 2.
We put the sliced zucchini in a pot that we greased with oil (see photo 4).
In a pan with hot oil, fry the chopped green onion until it becomes glassy (see photo 3).
Prepare the Sauce, Add It Over the Vegetables and Put in the Oven.
In a separate bowl, prepare a sauce of: yogurt, crushed garlic, salt, pepper, thyme (to taste), a little oil and eggs (optional). Mix well.
Pour the previously prepared sauce over the zucchini in the pot, then sprinkle the fried onion evenly.
Mix everything as in photo 6.
Bake for approx. 45 min. until browned, see photo 7.
Add the Tomato and Put It Back in the Oven.
Remove the pot from the oven, sprinkle grated cheese on top and add thinly sliced tomatoes on top, photo 8.
Put it back in the oven, 10 ... 15 min, until the tomato browns and the cheese melts, see photo 9.
Put Chopped Dill on Top. Ready!
After removing from the oven, leave to cool slightly, then sprinkle with chopped green dill (see main photo).
Ready!
You get 6 servings that can be eaten cold or hot, as such or as garnish for other dishes.
And that's it!
