This step will include ordering your desired engine and gas tank specific to your baja vehichle. For our case and SAE competition we went with a Briggs and Staton 10hp motor

Next, have a rough idea where and how you plan to mount the engine and gas tank to your vehicle. Be prepared to adjust your concept!
Mount the Engine and Gas Tank to Frame of Vehichle
Using the necessary hardware and engine mounts, place the engine into the frame of the vehicle at the rear per the design guideline. Also place the gas tank in a slightly elevated position as compared to the engine itself. Gravity fed engine !
Connect the Output of the Engine to the Transfer Case

Now in order to transfer power to the wheels, the belt must be placed between the engine output housing and the input of the transfer case
Run a Line From the Gas Tank to the Engine

simply connect the gas tank to the input gas connection on the engine so that the engine will have fuel to run!

At this point, check that all bolts are tightened, lines are connected, and belts run. Fire it up and adjust as needed
