Add all your ingredients except the bacon and pineapple to a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes continually stirring. Now if you like it spicy feel free to add more hot sauce. I did a little over a 1/4 tsp. but probably could have done a little more. I like a good kick. Its up to you.

Cut your bacon into a thinner strip by cutting right down the middle long ways. Then cut each of those pieces in half and you should end up with four strips long enough to roll up a chunk of pineapple. Now start the wrapping process and stick a tooth pick in it. Place on a cookie sheet. I elevated them on a rack so that they didn't sit in the grease and soak up all the grease losing the pineapple flavor. Cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes you are going to pull them out and baste them with your BBQ sauce and then return to the oven for another 15 minutes. Now they are done and I know they look and smell really good, but before you pop one in your mouth make sure you blow on it. Or it will feel like you just filled your mouth with molten lava. Take these to your next party, they will surely be a hit!
