1. Slice onion into rings to about the thickness of your finger.
2. If you are using thick sliced bacon, you may want to slice it in half (long ways) so it will wrap easier.
3. Start wrapping onion rings with bacon as tight as you can without causing damage to the bacon.
(The Tighter you can get the bacon wrapped, the more durable you final product will be.)
when one piece ends, wrap another piece around it enough so it won't come apart. Repeat this
process until onion ring is fully wrapped in bacon.
4. Set Rings on baking sheet covered with wax paper, then place in freezer for about 1 hour.

1. Heat oil in pan
2. Place ranch and/or BBQ Sauce into ring sized bowls (mix egg into ranch if needed to help thin out.)
3. Place ,Bread crumbs, flour, corn meal, garlic powder, pepper & salt into large pan and mix
    thoroughly.
4. Place frozen ring into flour mixture to give it a light coat ( this will help everything stick better)
5. Then place ring into ranch OR BBQ sauce and gently coat it until fully covered.
6. Place coated ring into flour and coat completely. I like to put some mix into my hand and lightly
squeeze it around the edges until compressed tightly with no wet spots.
7. If there are any spots on your ring left uncoated, dab on more sauce and then press on more flour.
8. When ring is fully coated, place it into hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes each side or until golden
brown. Be careful flipping them though, they can fall apart pretty easy if you do it too soon or mess
with them to much. I used a spatula to make sure they didn't crumble while flipping and removing.
9. After rings are cooked to a golden brown, place them on a paper towel and pat down lightly to
remove excess grease. wait 5 minutes to cool, then serve.
