In this instructable i will be showing you the steps to make a ski sled that is fairly light and the lead for the sled will be able to hook into straps to carry the sled on your back!
Required supplies:
- About 20 x 20" of wood
- About 40" of  2x4
- Four heavy duty screws/ Bolts
- enough rope to go around 3 sides of your board
-file
-Hacksaw
-wood saw
-drill
-a pair of skis "$10 at salvation army"
-Hooks

Cutting the Stuff

Cut the square/rectangle of wood that you will be sitting on About 20x20 - 21x21.Then cut the 2x4 which we will be using as support beams to the you wan't in between the skis.Cutting skis is extremely difficult without the file but is can be don with just a hack saw. First you want to file through the metal edges then use the hack saw to cut the rest of the way. If you don't want to file through both edges then file through one edge and the hack saw usually makes it through.

Drill the Holes

Now drill the holes, do one in each corner close to the middle.

Screw the Screws

Sorry just had to say that any way you get the point with a socket wrench screw the bolts in or use a screwdriver / drill to screw the screws.

Adding the "straps"

Drill some holes near the front behind the support beam.
Thread the rope through the freshly drilled hole and knot it.
Place the hooks near the edge of the support beam in the back corners.
hook the rope under the hooks.
put the backpack on you may need to adjust the rope.
To adjust the rope cut the knot / untie the knot pull the rope to adjust the straps.
I know that it's not very advanced or comfortable but it works I made this to make it easier to run to the sledding hill.
