Back to School Style Pencils (or Pens)

My mom used to make these all the time when she was my age! They give your pencils (or pens) a funky finish!

You will need:

String
Pencil or pen
As many colors of string as you wish
Glue gun
And about 30-45 minutes of your time

On the end of your pencil (A.K.A. right above the eraser) wrap the string around your pencil. I did mine in thirds.

Once you're done, take the glue gun (make sure its warmed up) and put a teeny weensy drop of glue on the end of the rope, as it shows in the picture

Just wrap around you're string in the colors of the rainbow and do the glue gun step again.

AND YOU'RE DONE!
