This shows how to replace the rechargeable batteries in a Babyliss Easycut V2 hair trimmer. After a few years the battery charge just doesn't last long enough, but a couple of new (inexpensive) tagged batteries will restore this appliance to full working order.

3x crosspoint screws hold it to the motor casing.
I suggest keeping the cutter blades in the same alignment for reassembly to avoid wear damage. I just used nsulating tape wrapped around the casing and blade

Pull gently straight out. The ball and socket joint is under the rectangular box in the cutter housing. Recover the coil compression spring.

The wires are very short.
I bent the top tag outwards. Then the pack can turn and lift towards the spindle. It doesn’t need any force, just gently bend the top tag to clear the wires. The battery pack after desoldering shows how the tags are now bent into slight curves.

Reassembly

Just reverse the steps above.
As mentioned I would advise trying to keep the two cutter blades in the same alignment, as they don’t rotate, but oscillate in the same place. This means they will wear slightly into their working condition, and if they are realigned it may cause issues with sharpness.
If someone knows otherwise please let me know and I’ll update this comment.
