Baby Grand Piano Bookshelf

We cut the body of a Baby Grand horizontally and turned it into a bookshelf.
Supplies
- Baby Grand Piano, Jig saw, plywood, paint, (2) 8' x 1" x 6" boards, drill, screws

measure the width you want for the outside shell of the bookcase and make cut with a jigsaw - we used tape to protest the finish

trace out shape and cut plywood to fit as a back of the bookcase.

Once back is screwed on, measure and cut your vertical piece. This is what you attach your selves to.

Measure, cut and add shelves, screwing from the sides and from the back
Adding Legs (optional)

We used legs from a discarded coffee table, that happened to be a great match. It also gave us the space under the middle to reuse secure the foot pedals.
