BR-0 is a tunneling droid who can be used to bury and retrieve objects underground by digging in addition to creating small burrows and tunnels. BR-0 is equipped with small paw-like claws to dig in addition to antennas on its head to transmit its location from underneath a surface. BR-0 can detect shifts in the ground by natural causes or animals that are close by. The droid is more efficient at digging than other machinery as BR-0 can not only dig quickly, but quietly. This type of droid has been used for farming, but can also be used to create underground passages for things such as pipes and power cables.
I based the design of this droid off of a rabbit and BR-0’s name is a play on the word “burrow”.
