Add the remaining ingredients. Slowly add the milk until the batter has a consistency of a runny cake batter. Then pour it into your dutch oven. For this I used a 10 inch dutch oven.

Bake the oatmeal at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. You want the Baked Oatmeal to be firm and golden brown. To do this with a 10 inch dutch oven, I placed 7 charcoal briskets on the bottom and 14 on top of the dutch oven. (If you want to do this at home, bake in a 9X9 inch greased cake pan).

Let it cool or eat it warm. The classic camp way is to eat it with raisins and brown sugar. Other ways to enjoy this are with a little milk or top it with fruit. My family prefers to pour maple syrup on it.
THANK YOU!
