B-26 is a B-type droid, an early prototype developed during the formative years of the New Republic. Its design, characterized by a large, spherical wheel and a stable head mount, served as a technological stepping stone towards the more advanced BB series. B-26's large wheel allowed for greater mobility and stability, while its head was designed to house advanced sensors and communication arrays. B-26 is equipped with a variety of tools and gadgets, making it a multifunctional droid. Its wheel was coated with a hexagonal grip pattern for traction on various surfaces, from the deserts of Tatooine to the icy plains of Hoth. B-26's design centered around its large, omnidirectional wheel, which allowed it to traverse various terrains with ease. B-26 is more than just a utility droid; it plays an active role in strategic planning and execution. Its ability to analyze and interpret data quickly makes it a valuable asset in mission briefings and debriefings. Commanders often rely on B-26 for real-time tactical updates and decision-making support during operations. B-26's blend of advanced technology, robust design, and personable demeanor made it an exceptional fit for a wide range of New Republic missions. Its versatility and reliability ensured that it could handle any task thrown its way, from tactical support and reconnaissance to direct field operations. As a precursor to the BB series, B-26's legacy is marked by its significant contributions to the New Republic's early successes and its role in shaping the future of droid design and functionality.

I designed B-26 as a droid for the New Republic after seeing the design of the New Republic in Tales of the Jedi. Before I started I knew very little about 3D Modeling and never thought I would be able to design a droid like the one I made. If I could show this model to myself from before I started this I am sure that I would not even be able to believe that I was able to make this. I hope you enjoy my Droid as I do and I thank you for making this challenge which helped me to get better at 3D modeling.
