Material Required
- Old denim jeans
- Stitching tools
- Synthetic resin glue
- A pair of scissors
- Masking tape
- Acrylic fabric color and paint brush
- A pair of neodymium magnets, 1inch diameter or bigger.
Cut and join denim pieces as per diameter and height of the water can. Also cut a circular piece to make top cover
Try wrapping the denim cloth from the back part of the denim, and mark the area which is needed to be joined. Use glue to join both the ends.
Cut the thick part of the denim so that it will be easy for you to sew. Fit the denim on the water dispenser fully and then glue the top part of the cover so that fringes will be covered.
Stick the double sided tape on the base of the water can, and then stick the denim cloth circle onto it.
Sew it to join the base properly and effectively
Collect few neodymium magnets bigger than 8mm diameter. so that any metal part think can stick to it. Fix the magnet wherever it suits you by applying glue on the denim patch and then stick the patch on the magnet to cover it properly.
Make some artwork onto it using fabric color to make it more appealing. I tried keeping it simple.
Mark the magnetic area, so that you will find it easy to stick some metal body thing like keychains to it.
Now your denim cover is fully ready to use.
