"Average Joe" Illusion Trick
Here's one for the "Average Joe", the layman, the "there's still a kid in me and I sometimes like to let him/her out" person.
There are many outstanding illusion tricks out there that have elaborate props and expensive secret catches to them. This is not one of them, but it is still outstanding, surprising, and illusive. You can probably do it RIGHT NOW. It's a very simple concept.
The best way to show you this in its entirety is via video, so here you go:

What You'll Need
If you have two arms, two hands, a pen and a wristwatch, you can easily pull this off. You will also need the super secret, elaborate prop which I will reveal to you later...(evil laugh).
The Secret Hidden Prop
Ok, it's a butter knife.
Slide the knife underneath your watch so that you can position the pen as pictured.

Executing
First, place the pen in your hand and make a fist(using the butter knife to eventually hold it there against your palm).
Then, grab your wrist (near the watch) with your other hand as pictured. Slide your index finger behind your hand. Open the hand with the pen in it. The pen will appear to be stuck to your hand. Most people will think that your index finger is holding the pen in place.
Finally, take your hand off of your wrist and move it clearly away. The pen will, of course, stay suspended behind your hand (seemingly without anything there to support it). People will be fooled and foiled. Actually, I submitted this whole instructable just so I could use the word "foiled"...don't you love that word?
Anyway, you may or may not want to reveal your secret prop. A real magician would say to never give away the secret to a trick.
If you are an "Average Joe", a layman, or a "kid that's stuck inside of you that wants to get out" person, that is completely up to you! Enjoy and have fun.......
