Automatic Watering Device
Recently, we made an automatic watering equipment which could measure soil moisture and ambient temperature. Moreover, we design this device to be more accurate and take better care of our plant. At first, we feel guilty owing to we have no time to look after our lovely plant so that their life span became shorter. However, if you have this equipment, this problem could disappear. Based on this product, it has the following benefits. You could take care of your plant more accurate which could make your plant live longer. What’s more, you could save your time and don’t feel guilty after forgetting your plant. And your space would become more comfortable and much healthier.
With the help of Arduino, the idea worked. And you can watch the working video first.
Supplies
Supplies( the components you need): 1. A power supply which can make the device work. 2. A LM393 comparator. 3. An Arduino mainboard. 4. A soil moisture sensor. 5. A temperature sensor. 6. A relay. 7. A water pump. 8. A lovely plant. 9.Some Dupont lines.
Step 1: How Its Work
When the ambient temperature is between 17℃ and 27℃, start watering when the soil moisture in the pot is below 570 and stop watering when the moisture reaches 700. When the ambient temperature is greater than 27℃, start watering when the humidity in the pot is lower than 627, and stop watering when the humidity reaches 770. When the ambient temperature is less than 17℃, start watering when the humidity in the pot is less than 513, and stop watering when the humidity reaches 630.
