Here, I am going to show you how to make a Night Sensing Penstand which glows ON automatically at night or in darkness.
This project is based on Dark Sensor Circuit, which is a circuit which turns ON the load (lights) when it detects darkness. The key component for making this project is LDR - Light Dependent Resistor, a photoresistor whose resistance varies with the change in the light intensity that falls upon it.
Material Required

To make this project, we require:
• LDR – Light Dependent Resistor
• Transistor – BC 547
• Resistor – 47K Ω
• LEDs (4)
• Switch
• Battery (9V) and Battery Clip
• Wires
• PCB
• Cardboard
• Paper
Major Tools required:
• Soldering Iron and Solder Wire
• Hot Glue Gun
