Automatic Door Closer

Purpose:
To close the door behind you automatically.

What made me think of this?
My family likes to come into my room and not reclose the door after so I decided to fix that problem with this invention.

First disconnect the pins in the retractors then connect them all to one. The reason we do this is to get more power to pull the door because on retractor won’t be able to pull the door especially if you have carpet.

Next we use he chain and cut bind them together to connect to the top and bottom of the retractors the chains are what will connect to the hooks mounted to the surfaces.

Mount the hooks on the door frame and the the door on the other side.
Make sure you make it to where when the retractors are connected there is still tension on the retractor strings so they fully close the door.

Lastly add your retractable you made at the beginning to the hooks and you’re all set. If you want to help the door fully close you can take the door latch that’s connected to the door knobs out so it can close all the way every time.
