Things needed

Potentiometer/ 2-way Switch - https://goo.gl/s1ntCk

Motor - https://goo.gl/k93eS6

Project Box

Wire

A set of twist blinds (The normal kind.)

The power source ( You can go two ways with this either battery or plug, I used a plug make sure to check the voltage on it and be careful AC power can kill.)

Create a Hole in the Box

In my project, I took a drill to the project box and then used a rat tail file to even it out and widen it enough for the switch. Then I drilled a smaller hole in the bottom of the box for the wires to the motor and to the power source.

Wire and Test

It is super simple to wire this switch if you get the same one as me, red is positive black is negative really all you need to know. Then hook the output wires to the motor and test it.

Modify Your Blinds

So here I have really cheap blinds that I drilled a hole into due to the size of the motor. I had to also hollow it out by taking out the string adjuster out so I could directly attach it to the axle.

Mount Motor to Axle

So this gets a little janky the way that I mounted the axles together was by taking a marker cap drilling out one side and then fitting it over both. It was actually a pretty tight fit but I then filled it with superglue just to be sure.
