Attach Iphone to a Tripod

Cheap and easy way to attach your Iphone to a tripod using the packaging that it came in. This is using an iphone 5C... I dont know if the other iphones come with the same packaging but I presume it is similar.

This is a good mount for making time-lapse movies or photos with a timer but is a little "wabbley"  for shooting without a timer or remote.

First you will need the piece of plastic that held iphone.

You will also need:

Epoxy
An old camera OR a 1/4 inch diameter nut (20 threads per inch)
Tripod
Small jewelers screwdriver (if needed)

If you don't want to go to the hardware store but you do have an old camera kicking around. You might be able to easily remove the tripod mount from the bottom of the camera with a small jewelers screwdriver.

Next epoxy the nut (1/4 inch - 20 threads per inch) or the tripod mount to the bottom of the plastic holder.

Once the epoxy is dry, mount the case onto your tripod and click your iphone in. The clear plastic doesn't block or disrupt the camera lens.

Now you are ready to begin your time-lapse movie.
