Creature - Ninjato

I made this a little while ago as an alternative to my main sword when I was sort of missing the classic ninjato feel (if you're a subscriber you already know that I really, really love ninjatos.) I guess you could say I based it off of Dirk Strider's Unbreakable Katana (customized). It was a fairly quick build, made on a whim with the materials I had at hand, because I wasn't in the mood to go hunting for things in far corners of the internet. It's not really finished yet, and the handle's not quite secure (also more in the images). The core is quarter inch fiberglass this time. It's heavier and it bends more, as a result. I like the added weight, but I haven't yet decided what I think of the flexibility. I tried to bevel the edges of the handle but I don't have the tools I'd need on hand and it isn't really necessary. I talk more about how it's made in the images.

All in all, I'm happy with the way it turned out. It was a fairly simple project. I skimped out on some of the parts because I didn't have materials, but I love the way it handles. I have an I'ble full of all the methods I use to make these weapons, which you can check out here.
